Engineer Lead Senior
Location: Ideal candidates will live or be willing to relocate to within 50 miles of our Pulse Point location at 2103 Staples Mill Rd., Richmond, VA 23230
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
The Engineer Lead Senior maintains active relationships with customers to determine business requirements, lead requirements gathering meetings and review designs with the business.

Deliver application technology solutions and data information planning. Participate in review and decision making for enterprise solutions.
Research, invent, design, and build of novel digital solutions.
Produce high quality solutions that are robust, reliable, and scalable.
Research and develop novel digital solutions independently and as part of a team; provide technical vision and leadership.
Function as expert level architecture technology that is responsible for development and delivery of the business unit software solutions technology road map to ensures specific technology solutions are in place to support business and IT customers.
Develop specifications for products/services, applications, and service offerings.
Assess the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies.
Lead the development and delivery of architectural technologies for software solutions and ensure that technology deliverables are met based on business requirements.
Work with leadership to design and deliver technology requirements and leverage necessary resources.
Lead technical teams and provide direction on all stages of a project the middle phases as well as implementation, and final proven leadership in the delivery and deployment phases.
Develop and define application scope and objectives and supervise the preparation of technical and/or functional specifications from which programs will be written.
Perform technical design reviews and code reviews.
Review and monitor initiatives for end-to-end impact and coordination.

Minimum requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Nine (9) years of experience in related occupation(s).
Additional requirements:
• Nine (9) years of experience of experience in related occupation(s) must include: Nine (9) years of experience in implementing optimized search functions for large data sets using SOLR or Elasticsearch.
• Nine (9) years of experience in architecture and designing large web-based applications using Web 2.0 technology including JavaScript, AngularJS, NodeJS, Java, CSS, and HTML.
• Seven (7) years of experience in object-oriented design, container platform and public cloud platforms including AWS.
• Seven (7) years of experience in implementing and leading adoption of modern DevOps process using tools including Bitbucket, Bamboo, XLR/XLD, SonarQube and Veracode.
• Seven (7) years of experience in SAFe Agile practice for software development and knowledge in Agile tools including JIRA and Agilecraft.
• Seven (7) years of experience in test automation practices and tools including Selenium Grid and Cucumber.
• Seven (7) years of experience in implementing instrumentation and monitoring of large system with tools including Splunk, DataDog, and Instana.
