Basic Job Functions:

Provide technical and professional leadership to the maintenance team and manage the engineering aspect of the maintenance process. Use CMMS and other TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) programs to drive improvements and rate the effectiveness of a Plan Downtime thru JP optimization. Drive equipment uptime by minimizing unplanned downtime. Schedule and maintain PM records and other pertinent data that is deemed necessary to complete a PM job. Publish information that has been reviewed, in a report format and on a routine basis.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Manage and maintain First Solar's CMMS system Schedule, extend and implement Preventive Maintenance (PM) Planning Conduct hazards and stress assessments regarding maintenance activities Prepare or provide documents for internal occupational and safety training of maintenance staff Optimize spare parts inventory Identify and implement error proofing methods on repetitive equipment issues Provide training where applicable to the maintenance team Drive and lead BKM, improve MTTR and optimize MTBF to bring down unplanned downtime lowest possible

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience preferable HVM in automation industry Knowledge in robotics and vacuum technology is an added advantage Familiar with SAP and Oracle systems

Education:

Degree in Electro-mechanical or Electronics Engineering preferred (Technical University Diploma is acceptable with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience)

Behavioral:

Good Command in both spoken and written English Strong analytical, communication and leadership skills

Technical:

Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems. Good knowledge of Problem-Solving Tools such as 7 Steps and Why-Why Analysis Basic knowledge in robotics or automation

Physical Requirements (if any)

Will sit or stand for extended periods of time throughout the day. Required to lift up to 25Kg Will walk and climb stairs. Will reach over shoulder heights and below waist. Required to use hands to lift, handle, carry or feel. May be required to kneel, bend or work at height Specific vision abilities are required. All associates working on the production floor may be required to wear appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) i.e. respirator at any given time or when carrying out some of the assigned tasks and thus, the ability to wear appropriate PPE as defined in the WI (work instruction) is a condition of employment and continued employment (as per EHS requirements/spec).            

Language Requirements:

Proficient in English Language (written and spoken)
