Engineer Maintenance - SWG (UNION) Park MGM

THE JOB:

It is the primary responsibility of the Maintenance Engineer to maintain and repair all equipment, as well as support daily operations and assigned activities.  Additionally, will be tasked with providing administrative and technical assistance as directed by department management. 

THE STARTING PAY RATE:  $32.46 / Per Hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Maintaining and repairing all equipment related to the successful operation of boilers, compressors, refrigeration equipment, generators and all equipment that is driven by steam, electricity, gas, air, diesel, water or any other power developing energy which has to do with or is related to the operation of all mechanical equipmentInspect, maintain, and repair ride systems and auxiliary equipmentTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic problems on ride systems and auxiliary equipmentComplete work ordersWalk daily routes and make necessary repairsPerform other job-related duties as requested

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

High school diploma, GED or educational equivalentMust currently hold a valid Nevada Driver’s LicenseMust be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 poundsMust be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Knowledge and ability to use common electrician tools, such as wire strippers and cutters, screwdrivers, pliers, voltage testers, multimeters and, hand power toolsAbility to use diagnostic tools, such as but not limited to: Amp Meters, Voltmeters, OHM meters, compound gauges and pressure gaugesAbility to work from blueprints and schematics, and interpret manufactures guidelines for the operation and maintenance of theme park and related equipmentGeneral knowledge of mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, money handlingAble to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal formsExcellent customer service and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Participates in regular training sessions on chemical safety and pool maintenance practices, ensuring compliance with local health and safety regulationsFamiliar with emergency response procedures for chemical spills or exposure, including the use of spill kits and first aid measuresElectrical Technician CertificationExperience working in a similar resort setting
