Responsibilities and Tasks

 

Responsible for planning, scheduling, and implementing new tool installations, relocations, and chamber retrofits.
Own and develop equipment maintenance procedures and schedules
Work with the process owners to develop, prioritize and manage projects to reduce defects, improve availability and find solutions to ongoing problems; and identify, quantify, and qualify cost reduction projects
Serve as the liaison between facilities, vendor reps, and shift personnel
Interact with process owners and tool vendors to develop new hardware, software, and technologies related to process and hardware performance improvements
Write and publish reports that summarize equipment availability improvements and cost reduction projects
All team members are required to complete their learning items within the stipulated time frame
For business process and/or QMS component that one is responsible or accountable for:

ensuring the QMS/business process that is effective and conforms to requirementsensuring that the processes are delivering their intended outputsreporting on QMS/business process performance and opportunities for improvement to managementensuring the promotion of internal and external customer focus throughout the organizationensuring the maintenance of the integrity of the QMS/ business process when changes are planned and implementedensuring customer requirements are met

 

Job Profile - Job Description for Engineer

The candidate should possess a BSc or BEng in Engineering from a recognized institute of higher learning.Equivalent experience in cleanroom wafer fabs is highly valued.Relevant internship experience or prior experience in semiconductor manufacturing is preferred.Experience and willingness to work on non-standard working hours (e.g. compressed, 12-hour night shifts).Outstanding organization, coordination and leadership skills – ability to coordinate and motivate team members from multiple sites and different backgrounds.Skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and simple code writing desired.Relevant experience as emergency response team (ERT) or first-aid/first-responder is valued.Self-motivated, self-governing with ability to work in a demanding and dynamic environment.Curiosity and natural tendency of learning new things independently.
