Engineer - Product design

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Create 3D models, assemblies and drawings in CAD software (Solid Edge/AutoCAD) Manage CAD data in Teamcenter / PLM / Oracle Prepare engineering specification document. Work on design change requests Adherence to quality processes. On time delivery & Quality of the deliverables Interact with other team members and provide assistance to them in various design activities Prepare presentations for technical communication with global counterparts Good knowledge of manufacturing processes like Casting/Machining Willing to learn and explore new technology Should possess analytical approach in solving problems.

  You will Anticipates customer needs and provides services that are beyond customer expectations. You will Quickly and decisively takes action in fast-changing, unpredictable situations and Assumes responsibility for the outcomes of others.

For This Role, You Will Need:

1 to 3 years of relevant experience, casting and Machining in CAD Design environment. Software skills: Solid Edge, AutoCAD, Teamcenter / PLM / Oracle Must have of Knowledge of GD&T / tolerance stack up Working knowledge of International Standards preferred. Knowledge/experience of DFM, DFMEA, preferred. Good drawing reading and understanding abilities Good verbal and written communications skills Strong interpersonal skills and team working Prior Working Experience in Global Engineering Environment is preferred.

 

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

B.E / B. Tech in Mechanical / Production Engineering with 2 - 3 years of relevant experience in mechanical design, industrial equipment. (Actuators, valves, gearboxes, special purpose machine). Good Experience in CAD / PLM / ERP Softwares (Solid Edge, Team Centre, Oracle).
