We at Professional Tools are seeking a talented Engineer to join our Product Design team, contributing to both New Product Design and Sustenance projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and communication skills, along with hands-on experience in CAD software (preferably Solid Edge) **In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Generate ideas, develop concepts, and design both new products and improvements to existing products. + Perform hand calculations and GD&T stack-up analysis. + Good understanding of engineering principles. + Provide CAD (Solid Edge / Solidworks) support for New Product Development (NPD) and Sustenance projects. + Lead cost-saving and quality improvement initiatives. + Implement DFMA (Design for Manufacturability and Assembly) practices in product design. + Implement Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Notes (ECNs) efficiently. + Contribute to the development and testing of functional prototypes and evaluate test results. + Manage costed Bill of Materials (BOM) and apply PLM tools such as Teamcenter. + Prioritize tasks effectively to meet customer expectations and deadlines. + Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all project team members. **Who You Are:** You relate comfortably with people across levels, functions, cultures and geography. You are self-motivated, dedicated, team orientated, should drive for result and individuals who can achieve the set goals.
