Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Propulsion Engineer. This position will be located at our Defense Systems Sector in Rocket Center, WV.

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Weapons Systems Division within our Defense Systems Sector.

Rocket Center, WV, is located along the North Branch Potomac River in Mineral County, West Virginia and is home to the Allegany Ballistics Laboratory (ABL), a government installation operated by Northrop Grumman. Known for its scenic mountain landscapes, rolling hills and state parks, the region offers a multitude of outdoor recreational opportunities to include hiking, mountain biking, skiing, fishing, hunting and whitewater rafting. Job Responsibilities:

Work with a multi-disciplinary Integrated Product Team (IPT) for a production programMaintain product Technical Data Package (TDP) for compliance to requirements and review for obsolescenceReview/approval of product manufacturing work instructionsPerform Material Review Board (MRB) actions for dispositioning of non-conforming / suspect materials and assembliesPreparation and presentation of pre/post-test reviewsPreparation and presentation of Engineering Review Board and Senior Review Board presentationsInterface with customer for product technical issues and reviewsPreparation and maintenance of Engineering Bill of Materials

Basic Qualifications: 

Bachelors Degree and 2 years of relevant experience

Salary Range: $83,300.00 - $124,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
