About this opportunity:
We are now looking for a Backoffice RAN Engineer having Ericsson Experience on 2G/4G/5G technology, with end-to end understanding of the latest Mobile Networks architecture to drive and support various Technologies related tasks & deliveries in Managed Services Operations.
What you will do
• Monitor and resolve Jeopardy Alerts in a timely manner within defined SLA; assist engineers with any requirements to execute work.
• Carry Out initial ticket triage regarding fault requests and provide analysis to ensure onward L2 escalation is accurate.
• Append all Tickets with concise, appropriate notes on activities taken to make work executable – Access Requests, Confirmation and Approval dates and times and references etc.
• Lead the team & able to handle the customer calls & emergency bridges & ensure prompt escalation to the Management whenever deemed applicable.
• Handle governance calls & prepare all type of network reports & PPTs to present to the customer.
• Tools Used: - Winfiol, OSS, ENM, Ticketing Tool, Other Event/Incident Management tool & Authorized 3PP tools as per project requirement.
• Provide Level w support for customer complaints and carry out incident/problem management activities, vendor management, support contracts, SLAs evaluation.
• To prioritize faults to meet SLA/WLA.
• Site Onboarding and acceptance
• Change System configuration to resolve network related issues.
You will bring
• Must have sound knowledge of vBSC/Baseband and Fronthaul TX equipment’s like SIU/Routers.
• Should possess knowledge of RAN 2G/4G/5G Network KPI’s and able to promptly analyse, report and resolve issues.
• Real time Critical TT handling for customer Complaint related issue.
• Give End to End support for any RAN and Network related issue.
• To monitor the system alarm and escalate every case like vBSC faults, baseband /Radio replacement.
• To analyze Health Checkup, Fallback report for vBSC as part of preventive Maintenance and taking the corrective action to resolve any fault found on daily basis.
• Telecommunications knowledge e.g. GSM, LTE, NR technologies, traffic concepts, handover concepts, signaling and product functional demands.
• General understanding call flows, channel concepts, Cell site related issues, broad knowledge of Linux/Unix operating system is essential.
• Ericsson Integration experience
• Must have understanding of Core/IP architecture and functionality of connected nodes and able to co-relate faults which are affecting Access network.
• Having on-hands experience in RAN nodes.
• Qualifications: Degree within Electrical Engineering/Telecommunication Engineering/or equivalent.
• Years of experience: 3-6 years
