Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Ideal candidates will live within 50 miles of the following Pulsepoint location. 12900 Park Plaza Drive, Cerritos, California 90703


Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm


The Engineer Senior collaborates with product managers and business stakeholders for system requirements, designs, architects, performs cost estimation and delivery timelines.


How you will make an impact:


•    Works on technologies like Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Rest, JDBC, or other selected languages for new applications. 
•    Implements microservices, design patterns, and web services. 
•    Manages APIs. 
•    Uses databases and develop stored procedures. 
•    Implements software development using Agile and Waterfall methodologies. 
•    Oversee team’s development and lead/guide the team as necessary. 
•    Collaborates with other developers in the team to perform code reviews, fixing the production issues and provide appropriate feedback. 
•    Drives the business requirements end to end starting from system analysis through production implementation. 
•    Designs and develops new IT systems to improve business functions and new functionality for existing computer systems. 
•    Works on CI / CD methodologies and container-based packaging & deployment. 
•    Ensures timely deliverables. 
•    Builds automated unit tests to verify the design and implementation of applications. 
•    Works with external entities of organization to coordinate any inbound/outbound data exchange requirements. 
•    Translates business requirements into IT work items. 
•    Collaborates with release management team and perform system implementations.

Minimum Requirements:


Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field of study. Five (5) years of experience working in related occupation(s).

Additional Requirements: 

Five (5) years of experience must include: 


•    Five (5) years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Batch and Spring MVC.
•    Five (5) years of experience in Software development using Agile methodology.
•    Five (5) years of experience in Continuous integration and continuous delivery.
•    Five (5) years of experience in Mentoring and coordinating team members to drive business requirements.
•    Five (5) years of experience in Collaborating with business, external entities and other IT teams to deliver planned initiatives.
•    Four (4) years of experience with PL/SQL, SQL Server and MongoDB.
•    Four (4) years of experience in Micro service development and an API Manager.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $146,370.00 to $147,370.00.
