Why we need this role

The primary objective of this role is to spearhead the design, development, and enhancement of OSS (Operational Support Systems) applications. Key roles include design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable Java applications that meets business and technical requirements. Expertise in Java technologies and development best practices to build efficient and reliable software solutions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to technical design, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and ensure performance and scalability

What will you do

Typical tasks and responsibilities will include:

Key programs and projects are delivered in line with OSS roadmap requirements (time / quality / cost) Write efficient, reusable, and maintainable code in Java, implementing complex features and functionalities as required by the project. Analyze and troubleshoot software issues, providing effective solutions and ensuring application performance, reliability, and scalability. Stay updated with the latest Java technologies, tools, and industry trends, and advocate for improvements in development processes and practices. Create and maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation to support development activities and ensure knowledge transfer within the team.

 

Skills & Experience

Must have 2- 9 years of Experience on development, customization, configuration and integration experience Must have lead the delivery of projects from core - small to complex developmental projects from conception till deployment and operations support for OSS applications Experience of implementing Docker, Docker Swarm based Architecture Implementing the Technical skills using Java, J2EE concepts along with MVC frameworks like Struts, Hibernate, Spring, Spring Boot, Apache Spark and web service technologies like Soap, Rest, UI framework like React or Angular. Good understanding of RDBMS databases like Oracle 10g/9i, MS SQL Server

 

 

Education A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or closely related field
