Engineer/Senior Engineer - Inside sales

Opening for Inside Sales Engineer position in Noida location and responsible for carrying out sizing and selection and providing on time quotation to customers through Regional Sales Managers or Dealers. **In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Carry out sizing and selection and provide timely quotations to customers through Regional Sales Managers or Dealers. + Commit to daily, weekly, and monthly targets for timely quotations. + Track issued quotations for win rates, processing times, and the proportion of clean orders received. + Support Regional Sales Managers and Dealers in technical discussions with customers. + Follow up with customers over the phone and through personal visits to convert assigned quotations to purchase orders. + Review received purchase orders and hand over for execution. + Consolidate and submit technical and price offers in the customer's format. + Check received POs for compliance with the submitted offer and advise the customer/Sales Manager/Dealer of any discrepancies. Follow-up for order amendments where vital. + Pass on clean orders, along with all supporting documents, to SOM for execution. + Guide SOM or equivalent experience in providing order acknowledgments and necessary documents to the customer. Supervise communication between the customer and SOM for smooth and timely order execution and payment processes. + Manage change orders to reflect impacts on price, delivery, damages, etc. + Support the purchase team with clarifications for regulators imported from factories abroad. + Liaise with customers to support the QA team during inspections, if necessary. + Form a team with the Regional Sales Manager to meet and exceed regional targets for the year. + Correspond with application experts at other global locations for special applications/prices and interact with factories for testing requirements and delivery periods. + For MRO inquiries, interact with the service team, customers, and BU experts to investigate root causes and propose solutions. + Submit weekly and monthly reports in the prescribed format. **Who You Are:** You quickly and decisively act in constantly evolving, unexpected situations. You observe situational and group dynamics and select the best-fit approach. **For This Role, You Will Need:** + Strong technical skills and competence, comfortable leading technical discussions. + Strong sales competence and keen curiosity about interacting with customers. + Proactive approach and customer focus, with problem-solving skills. + Learning agility with a keen curiosity about new products and technologies. + Good interpersonal skills. + Strong great teammate. + Knowledge of the regulators/valve industry is preferable.
