Job Summary:

If you are a Planning specialist, Emerson has an exciting role for you! We are looking for a Planner to work for our India Pressure Management Business unit. You will be responsible for ensuring the right materials arrive on time to avoid factory operation delays or line stoppages. This gives you a very vital role in helping drive growth platforms and supporting operational pillars while striving for long-term value creation.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Preparing Quarterly, Monthly, Weekly & Daily production plan. Preparing reports needed for business process along with other departments. Releasing planned orders to PR. Reviewing the scheduled sales orders and providing promise date by reviewing the ATP (Available to promise) output. Coordinating and verifying production routings, preparation of work orders based on BOM. Reviewing the shortages for work orders and expediting purchase team for arranging on time. Releasing Work orders to shop floor as per schedule. Expediting Warehouse for issuing Work orders, shop, and QC/QA for timely delivery of products from them to ensure on time delivery of valves to the customer. Review of planning when sales order specs, drawings and BOM’s were revised, such review can result in addition/ modification of materials in Work order and shop planning as well. Maintain planning file for sales orders from entry to last valve delivery. Arranging subcontract workorders for items which need to be sent for Powder coating, Painting, Machining, and fabrication.

For This Role, You Will Need:

Engineering with relevant planning and scheduling experience and a total experience of 6 - 10 years High level of integrity & trust Good command on MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Good communications, negotiation, and people management skills. Basic Finance and Costing Knowledge is preferred. Familiar with ISO9001 Management System, as well as the requirements of Corporate Safety Management and Occupational Health Management is preferred. Must be a Self-driven & Self-motivated Leader.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Experience with Oracle or any other ERP will be an added advantage.
