Engineer - Supply Chain

Job Summary:

If you are a Supply Chain Professional and looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you in our Mahindra World City, Chengalpattu location! This role is an exciting opportunity to support the Pressure Management Business Unit as a Supply Chain Analyst who will be responsible for evaluating and improving the efficiency of supply chain operations within an organization.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Report Analysis and Management:  Be able to conduct monthly China Supply Chain meeting with Team Leaders  Monthly update: Spend, Localization % and Intra/inter-company purchase trend Key Metrics update: include but not limit to Lead Time, RDSL, IM, Contract, DPO, P2P Analysis and provide improvement direction / suggestion of Key Metric Coordinate Inflation Module (IM) / material Cost Index (MCI) update and lead IM/MCI annual reset Tracking and lead Quarterly Metal Review and follow-up negotiation progress with Sourcing team

 

Daily Work:  Upload all new items ASL & SRA & BPA for supply chain team, check and update when needed in Item Application Tool Supervise new item application, verify & correct MIN data maintenance. Allocating sourcing after receiving the inquiry requirements, support Sourcing on RFQ when vital. Represent Supply Chain function for Oracle relative activities. Accurate item information (Commodity code / LT / Kanban, etc.…).

 

Others Training related system: Oracle / SAP, CVDH, Commodity Code, Power BI… Keep all contracts copy on file/Audit indirect contract terms/summarize contract list Necessary support to supply chain and other functional team Supply Chain admin relative coordinate work Perform related work as apparent or assigned by manager

For This Role, You Will Need:

Deep understanding of ERP systems: SAP & Oracle.  Familiar with supply chain process. Skilled in data analysis, attention to detail. Good command of English (written/oral), Able to connect with foreign colleagues in English. Good communication skills, able to work across sites and groups at different levels within the organization.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Any Engineering degree. At least 2 years working experience in multinational company, manufacturing experience is preferred. Good command of PC and Windows/Data tools: Excel, PPT, Power BI and other software. Flexible to work form Mahindra World City, Chengalpattu
