Department OverviewTest Systems Engineering (TSE) @ Mexico is focusing in two main goals:
- Design, build, and deploys test solutions in the manufacturing sites. These solutions are used to program, tune, and test the MSI product portfolio by ensuring our products are performing per customer specifications.
- To provide assistance to our manufacturing facilities in case of problems affecting the production of our products.
Activities as part of TSE organization are: SW Development, SW Debug in multiple programming languages, Integration (HW & SW), HW Debug, and focus in continuous improvement, documentation, among others.
Job Description
Candidates MUST in Guadalajara with availability to work 100% onsite.
Responsibilities:
Analyze, develop and implement test hardware and software for production testing of current and new products. Identify and implement solutions to improve test Yields, reduce overall Test time, provide for test capacity increases, minimize downtime, and optimize test/process flows. This includes utilizing statistical tools.Identify technical problems, determines alternatives and evaluates them to arrive at the most acceptable approach considering complying with specifications, cost effectiveness, testability and reparability.Document and present technical reports (SW/HW) and participates as a team in a cross functional team.Production line transferences and work with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to resolve issues detected through testing.Candidate Requirements:
Experience knowledge of test systems hardware and software architecture.Hands-on and technical skills in troubleshooting test solutions.Familiarity with other languages are desirable (e.g. C#, Python, etc).Radio Frequency knowledge is desirable.Bilingual (English / Spanish).#LI-DR2
Basic RequirementsEducation in Electronic/Electrical/Mechatronic Engineer or equivalent.2+ years experience in similar positions.Experience programming knowledge with LabVIEW/TestStand.Able to work with minimum supervision
