Job Title: TrueBuild® Engineering Analyst

Job Summary:

The TrueBuild® Engineering Analyst will gather engineering requirements and perform test procedures on software development efforts. They will also work with other engineering subject matter experts to facilitate engineering needs in the software environment, helping to manage priority and workload.


Duties/Responsibilities:

·       Coordinate with the TrueBuild® Team to write software requirements for engineering issues in the software.

·       Drafts technical papers that document the engineering attributes withing TrueBuild®.

·       Assist in reviewing building code releases related to engineering and makes recommendations on development efforts required.

·       Gather and study engineering information regarding materials and components to be used in production.

·       Tests new products and the engineering components of TrueBuild®; develops systems to gather digital data during testing.

·       Studies the data gathered during testing and evaluates the validity of the results.

·       Identifies any problems with new products or engineering components within TrueBuild®; makes recommendations to resolve problems.

·       Working as a liaison between our engineering subject matter experts and our Developers.

·       Translating engineering needs into technical requirements and ensure alignment with system capabilities.

·       Help manage engineering requirement backlog and priority list for software development.

·       Excellent communication skills, keeping the business, subject matter experts, and managers up to date

·       Regularly report status to both functional and project management

·       Performs other related duties as required.

·       Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

·       Proficiency with/ability to learn proprietary component manufacturing design software suit (TrueBuild®).

·       Proficiency with/ability to learn proprietary company management software (EMS).

·       Possess a Warrior’s Spirit and a Servant’s Heart.


Education and Experience:

·       Bachelor’s degree required.

·       Engineering license required.

·       Structural Engineering experience preferred

·       Experience with wood components preferred

·       Experience with residential or multifamily preferred.


Physical Requirements:

·       Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

·       Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

·       Travel as required
