Engineering Application Developer supports the customer's work backlog and is tasked with delivering model building, work-flow execution, and post processing capability to the organization.

 

The following work tasks are representative and should not be considered all-inclusive:

Interface with personnel to provide application development services for all phases of software life cycle including:
i) Requirements development
ii) Design/architecture development
iii) Coding
iv) Testing
v) Documentation
vi) Operation and maintenanceDevelop plans identifying the deliverables and milestones. This plan shall be reviewed and
agreed to by customer personnel.Report progress against plans.Adhere to customer Agile software development processes and methodology.

Salary range- $100-130k

Qualifications Must have a DoD Secret or DOE L security clearance, or higherFour-year degree in Computer Science or engineering/technical discipline.Experience in scientific application software development using object oriented analysis and design and software engineering processes and methods.Experience in programming languages such as Java, C++, and Python. This list is representative and should not be considered all-inclusive.Experience in technical and software documentation, software testing and formal software quality assurance.Experience with Unix/Linux scripting, Perl and/or Fortran.
