Key Accountabilities:

Assist the Engineers in a day-to-day fashion that involves the maintenance and operation of The Peninsula Chicago. Attend school for the continuing education of the position and to work towards promoting ones self to a licensed engineer. Participate in rooms preventative maintenance program. Learn skills properly taught on a daily basis. Keep all work areas clean, orderly, and in a safe working environment. Maintain professional working relationships with fellow employees. Respond to all hotel emergencies and safety situations. Perform other tasks and projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.

 

General Requirements:

At least 1 year schooling in the Engineering field required. Must continue Engineering education during employment. Must be a member of Local 399 in good standing. Some knowledge on painting, carpentry, kitchen, laundry, and/or mechanical. Knowledge in HVAC preferred. Good analytical, system, and business analysis skills Resilient in working under high-paced environment.
