Engineering Change Coordinator

Your mission, roles and responsibilities

As an Engineering Change Coordinator, you will manage the engineering change process from initiation to implementation. You will collaborate with supply chain and manufacturing teams to ensure changes are effectively communicated and implemented, maintaining high quality and minimizing disruption.

Key Responsibilities:

Engineering Change Management: Coordinate and manage the engineering change process from initiation to implementation. Review and analyze engineering change requests (ECRs) and engineering change notices (ECNs) for completeness and accuracy. Ensure timely communication and documentation of engineering changes to all relevant stakeholders.

Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with supply chain teams to assess the impact of engineering changes on inventory, procurement, and logistics. Work with suppliers to ensure they are informed of and comply with engineering changes. Monitor and manage the implementation of changes within the supply chain to minimize disruption.

Manufacturing Implementation: Liaise with manufacturing teams to plan and execute the implementation of engineering changes. Ensure that manufacturing processes and equipment are updated to reflect engineering changes. Coordinate with production planning to schedule changes in a way that minimizes downtime and maintains production efficiency.

Quality Assurance: Work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure that engineering changes meet all quality standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans for potential quality issues arising from engineering changes. Monitor and report on the quality performance of implemented changes.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all engineering changes, including documentation, approvals, and implementation status. Prepare and present regular reports on the status and impact of engineering changes to management and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with all relevant documentation and reporting standards.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in engineering change management, supply chain coordination, or a related role.

Skills and Competencies:
