Engineering Change Order Buyer

As an Engineering Change Order (ECO) Buyer at MKS, you will partner with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Procurement, and Category Buyers, to manage and support Engineering Change Requests (ECR), Engineering Change Orders (ECO), Technical Data Notices (TDN), and Manufacturing Change Orders (MCO) from the procurement side. In this role, you will report to the ECO Supervisor.
You Will Make an Impact By:
+ Be the key contact person for complete cross functional team responsible for Engineering changes request & Engineering Change Order (ECO), TDN’s & MCO’s regarding inputs from Procurement side (NPI & sustaining team)
+ Provide guidance support to the rest of procurement team regarding escalation with internal key stake holders and support internal escalation in case is needed.
+ Manage and monitor KPI’s to achieve reduction of ECO’s with aging due to procurement issues.
+ Manage and monitor KPI’s to achieve reduction of TDN’s & MCO’s with aging due to procurement issues.
+ Support RFQs to suppliers for new products including analyzing and negotiating quotations in coordination with category buyers, for Alpha parts.
+ Participate in cross-functional meetings and ECO review meetings as a representative of the procurement team.
+ Recommend sources, and volume pricing structures for alpha parts.
+ Assign buyer & supplier for new alpha parts in ERP: Oracle & SAP.
+ Manage ECO’s, MCO’s & TDN’s approvals after Procurement input.
Skills You Bring:
+ A valid passport and US visa
+ A Bachelor’s degree in business/economics or engineering with knowledge of Materials Management or Logistics
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in Procurement/Supply Chain/Engineering Changes/New Projects
+ A demonstrated background and proven experience with Technical Drawings reading, Sourcing process & Knowledge of supply chain support.
+ Good interpersonal and communication skills
+ Proficient in the use of ERP/MRP Systems, SAP, Oracle and Microsoft Office
+ Advanced level ability in the use of Excel & Power Point
+ A willingness and ability to influence and change the status quo
+ Fluency in both English and Spanish languages
