Loblaw has adopted the following Hybrid working model (a combination of working between the office and remotely). Colleagues will continue working remotely up to 1 day a week, while spending the other 4 days in the office.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Co-op to join our team in Toronto. Reporting to the Director, Industrial Engineering, this role will focus on developing and optimizing data-driven reports and automation solutions to support strategic business decisions.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to translate complex business needs into actionable insights.Build and manage data models and analytics to support various operational and strategic projects.Analyzing store operating models to optimize efficiency and resource allocation.Working with shrink data to identify trends and support loss prevention strategies.Conducting time studies in stores to assess productivity and improve operational workflows.Identify and implement process automation solutions using Power Automate, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business requirements.Work cross-functionally to provide data-driven recommendations and support key initiatives.Conduct business case evaluations, generate reports, and contribute to ongoing operational improvements.

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in a university program in Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manipulate data effectively.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL; experience with Power BI and Power Automate is an asset.Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey technical insights clearly.
