We are looking for Engineering Co-op Students to join our Work Coordination for an 8-, 12-, and 16-month term starting in May 2025.
Who you are:
Must be currently enrolled in a co-op program in Electrical, Civil, Environmental or Geomatics Engineering at a recognized Canadian university Have Excellent computer skills and experience working with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing clearly and concisely, using appropriate technical vocabulary. Operations (Slave Lake)
Reporting to Supervisor, Work Coordination, Central West, within ATCO’s Electricity division, this position is responsible for supporting a variety of roles within the work coordination team.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring that project deliverables are achieved through supporting design, planning, scheduling, and warehouse where required. Develop and maintain collaborative work relationships with team members with the ability to take direction and learn independently. Responsible for design of both small and medium size capital projects and system projects on the distribution system. Interfacing with customers, creating proposals, and assisting with route selection. Obtains approvals, selects & orders material, develops design, completes design calculations, and composes Construction Packages. Data entry and analysis, retrieving requested information, compiling documentation, and supporting company initiatives are some of this role’s primary duties.ATCO Electric is part of ATCO Ltd.
