Be a part of a culture that doesn't just wait for change but actively creates itwhere your skills and values drive our collective progress and impact. **ROLE TITLE:** **ENGINEERING CO-OP (2 Vacancies)** **DEPARTMENT:** **ENGINEERING** **REPORTS TO:** **SENIOR MANAGER, ENGINEERING** **HOURS** **:** **8:00 -16:30** Reporting to the Engineering Manager, at the Steinbach location, will be assisting Engineers for capital and continuous improvement projects, data analysis, and system management. **Responsibilities** : + Support the site Thermal Oxidizer replacement project. + Support Honeywell Controls upgrade project. + Complete review of control level optimization for Building Management System points. + Support Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) work order optimization. + Support other capital and continuous improvement projects. + Actively participate and support occupational health, safety, and wellness of all employees at the site. + Ensure manufacturing areas are kept in good repair and in compliance with good manufacturing practices (cGMP) and regulatory requirements. **Education and Experience** : + Current student pursuing a College diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Chemical, or Biosystems Engineering or Engineering Technology or related studies. + Working knowledge of Microsoft office program. + Proficient with AutoCAD software. + Good project management skills with ability to manage multiple tasks. + Excellent written/verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with others. **Required competencies/Abilities** : + Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and commitments. + Sense of urgency and flexibility. + Good verbal and written communication skills.
