Job Description

This role will be responsible for supporting prospective and existing customers by preparing accurate estimates for products and projects. The Engineering Coordinator will support the Engineering and Sales teams by analyzing required documents, blueprints, and project plans to help guide customers through project completion timelines. Effective communication is crucial as this individual will work with customers daily. They will receive work from engineers and/or the sales team and will follow up with customers on their requests. Additionally, they may need to pull up drawings in CAD, modify designs, or sketch rough designs to provide appropriate estimates/quotes.

The Engineering Coordinator will work on a team with two other individuals and report to both the engineering manager and operations/sales manager, as this role supports both sides. The role involves close collaboration with both teams on a daily basis. The work schedule is 40 hours a week. The team will work with Union Shop employees but will not be part of the Union. The company is located in southwest Michigan and is a fabricator of custom and standard pressure vessels, hot water generators, process tanks, and storage tanks. The campus covers approximately 12.5 acres with a building coverage of 110,000 square feet. Benefits include 2 weeks PTO, 6 standard holidays, and access to Udemy after 6 months of employment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $31.25/hr.
