Janicki is looking for an Engineering Coordinator to join our growing engineering team. This individual will work support the Space team to include manufacturing data analysis, labor estimating, outsource and vendor communication, and the creation of reports. An ideal candidate is a strong verbal and written communicator, is passionate about data-driven processes, and is extremely organized.
This position is located on-site in Hamilton, Washington State
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Coordinates multiple tasks and projects within an engineering team Support and engages with the team in various ways such as creation of design review presentations, procurement of materials, bid work ups, or completing assigned tasks Interfaces with and understands key software programs such as SAP/SQL/QCBD/MS Projects Creates and maintains reports to support communication of project and team status Keep track of sales orders and ensure data accuracy in SAP. Perform comparison of similar projects to a new bid by review SAP actuals. Perform data analysis on projects and characterize patterns in cost overages. Communicate with cell managers to solicit labor hour estimates for new bids. Assist with drafting initial responses to RFIs, RFQs, and SoWs. Reach out to vendors and acquire quotes for lead time and pricing Regularly follow up on pending quotes. Maintain updated lead time and pricings for commonly used materials and processes. With approximately one year of training, capable of: Understand commonly used industry and customer specifications. Interpret standard engineering drawings. Understand standard Janicki manufacturing capabilities and their impacts to pricing. Behavior: The incumbent must work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines. The incumbent shall, at all times, demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors. Being at work on time and maintaining good attendance is a condition of employment and is an essential function of the job. Performs other duties as assigned This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). Janicki will assist with gaining this access once employed. Special Access Program or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position and requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or business is required. Education may be substituted with equivalent industry experience Has technical aptitude to learn and retain new concepts Professional conduct with coworkers and customers Highly organized with ability multitasking ability to evaluate and prioritize work Must have strong communication skills through written, verbal, and graphical mediums in the English language Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software, experience in scheduling software is required.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Salary range for this role is between $67,950 - $85,000, plus discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts. The range provided is Janicki’s estimate of the base compensation for this role.
