Position Description

The Data Entry Clerk works primarily with Engineering and Customer Service, but also works with all other departments on matters pertaining to individual component setup and revisions, BOM creation and maintenance, labor allotment, production tag info, and many other system functions within Carefree’s ERP system. This position reports to the Sustaining Engineering Manager.  Position can be done on site or hybrid.  No travel is needed for this position, though some initial training will need to be completed at our Broomfield, CO facility.

Engineering Data Clerk responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Assisting Engineers with creation of new part numbers and Bill of Materials (BOM’s)Execution of product change documentation (ECO’s and CCO’s)Makes changes to database for new revisionsAssisting in facilitating and communicating product change requirements throughout the businessCreating and providing ERP system reportsSetting up and maintaining the ERP product model configuration database

Qualifications for the Engineering Data Clerk include:

Excellent attention to detailProficiency in basic arithmetic: Addition, subtraction, multiplication, fractions, decimals and division.Good understanding of imperial and metric units of length measurement.Excellent problem-solving abilities: Ability to understand and solve mathematical problems, including word problems, with accuracy and efficiency.Analytical and quantitative skills: Ability to analyze data, interpret results, and draw meaningful conclusions.Ability to solve problems with minimal guidanceAnalytical and documentation skillsExceptional written and oral communication skillsHighly self-motivated and directedAbility to absorb and retain information quicklyStrong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office product suiteHigh school diploma or GEDStrong multi-tasking and time management skills

Desired Experience (preferred but not required):

Previously worked in a Manufacturing settingFamiliar with Bill of Materials (BOM’s)Worked with ERP Systems previouslyCreating and using Excel formulasCreating reports and tables using Excel to present information to a team of people

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is anticipated to be from $1730.77 - $1923.07 biweekly.
