Summary: Creates and maintains items, routings and bills of material and assigns item designators to production parts and pumps as needed in Oracle ERP system. Assists R&D Engineers and Project Team(s) by creating and maintaining bills of material for experimental and newly released products. Also assists Engineering Manager in increasing department efficiencies by implementing and maintaining Engineering documents and procedures.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: Minimum 3 years related job experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proficient using Microsoft Word and Excel Familiar with ERP software (Oracle preferred) Familiar with ERP data (e.g., Item Type Templates, Bills of Materials, Routers, Locators) Familiar with mass upload techniques to update many ERP data elements Able to clearly document results and findings in written form Self-motivated, able to work independently to meet deadlines Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Committed to continuous improvement, of self and the organization
Duties and Responsibilities:
Effectively use Excel to analyze and summarize data quickly and accurately Coordinate communication across all departments to complete item set-ups and/or regular ERP data maintenance Update ERP data for other departments as needed Accurately determine the appropriate item template with direction from others Effectively coordinate and communicate with all departments as needed Follow all safety rules and regulations and promote 5S All other duties as assigned
