We are looking for an Engineering Data Management Specialist to become part of the Airbus Defence and Space Romania team.

Mission: Special subtype of system engineering with the focus on a transversal Engineering speciality: Engineering Data Management. Collaborates closely with the Chief Engineer / engineering project manager of different systems/system elements for Airbus Defence and Space applying the most efficient and innovative technologies, process and tools related to this specific area.
 

Areas of impact:  Project management, software development lifecycles, scheduling, engineering KPI reporting, interactive dashboards, delivery management, requirements’ database administration, technical documentation processes

Responsibilities:

Analyze and integrate data from multiple platformsDevelop robust mechanisms for tracking various metrics and KPIsData modellingDevelop automated reports which will reduce manual effortsDevelop customized dashboards which will be used for optimizing financial performance and helping on strategic decision-making processPrepare management reports and presentations, both recurring and ad-hocBased on business needs, occasional travel within and outside the country may be required.

Requirements:

SkillsProven analytics, modelling and data interpretation skillsCapable of critically evaluating data to derive meaningful, actionable insightsStrong Excel skills, with aptitude for learning other analytics tools (Qlik Sense)Presentation skills to present the results in a visually appealing wayAdept at simplifying complex data insights for audiences without a technical backgroundAbility to easily communicate and interact with stakeholders; the role is transversal and assumes communication with various managers and teams, most communication needs to be handled remotelyKnowledge on the Specialty area: Project Management and basic financial processesFluent in English, ideally basic German and French
