Engineering Department Coordinator
**Job Description** Provides coordination, administrative and organizational support to Engineering Department through planning, coordination, and oversight of department administrative processes and documentation. Work location is in person at NANA Worley Anchorage Office; occasional attendance at in-person meetings elsewhere in Anchorage may be required; no travel out of the Anchorage will be required. **Responsibilities** Provides advanced level of coordination, organizational and high-level administrative support to Manager of Engineering and other department staff as required for successful results. Oversees administrative processes and ensures proper documentation of each phase. Develops and updates departmental schedules for department programs and initiatives. Assists Manager of Engineering and other department staff to maintain forward progress. Assists with engineering department development project initiation, coordination, execution, and final close out. Creates, organizes and classifies records according to the project filing index and priority. Coordinates within the Engineering Department, other NANA Worley departments, and external organizations to ensure activities and deliverables are tracked and expedited as required. Maintains status logs of key deliverables and prepares status reporting as required. Publishes meeting minutes, monthly and weekly progress reports, status reports, and similar reports and correspondence. Coordinates efficient Engineering Department records management and retention. Accesses, compiles, gathers and issues requested records, reports and information. Maintains, updates and publishes internal department table of organization, contact list, and organizational charts. Executes and maintains the creation, distribution and copy control of department forms and documents. Executes and maintains version and control procedures for department documents. This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Education/Experience: + High School Diploma or GED required. + Additional education or experience in writing, proofreading and composition, communication skills, construction, engineering, or project management preferred **Language Ability:** Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to verbally communicate effectively in person and via electronic interfaces to groups of managers, clients or employees. Strong written grammar and proofreading skills preferred **Math Ability:** Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as fractions, proportions, and percentages. **Reasoning Ability:** Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. **Computer Skills:** Must demonstrate keyboarding skills.To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office suite software with a high proficiency demonstrated in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with MS Teams, Access, and Visio is preferred.
