We are looking for a passionate Engineering Design Manager who is driven by collaboration, exceeding expectations, and challenging the status quo (this is a hybrid position - US location flexible). You will join our collaborative team providing our clients with award-winning planning, engineering, architectural design, construction management, and EPCM project delivery. By developing and delivering on project scopes, schedules, budgets, and contracts, you will help our teams achieve our client’s objectives. Your keen ability to multi-task, communicate effectively across the organization and tackle project challenges will allow you to thrive in our fast-paced environment.  You will bring your expertise to solve complex problems, ensuring the soaring success of our projects. You will also provide motivation and direction to project teams and help mentor our junior staff with your expertise.   In this role, your key contributions include: * Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients. In this role you are the face of Jacobs for clients and external partners responsible for representing our company and maintaining positive relationships with all stakeholders. * Managing all technical aspects of Project Design including: * Managing the project delivery phases including concept, feasibility, preliminary engineering, and detail engineering and design through construction documents for major capital investments. * Managing the preparation of project scopes of work, plans, schedules, and budgets. * Providing overall project management and coordination with internal engineering and client teams. * Coordinating with clients, staff, other agency officials, local governments, and architects/engineers etc. to develop and deliver the project deliverables required to meet clients project phase requirements. We’ll help you grow, pursue, and fulfill what inspires you - so we can make big impacts on the world, together. * Bachelor’s degree in in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline * At least 5 years demonstrated professional experience as an Engineer/Project Engineer/Project Manager in executing projects related to Industrial Fermentation, Specialty Chemicals, Consumer Products, Metals, Photovoltaics, Batteries, Electric Vehicles, Datacenters, Pulp & Paper, Food & Beverage, Manufacturing, and/or other industrial facilities * Demonstrated success in maintaining and growing client relationships * As needed on occasion, you will travel to our client sites, so flexibility will be key to success in this role Ideally, you will also have:  * 8-12 years demonstrated professional experience as an Engineer/Project Manager in executing projects related to Industrial Fermentation, Specialty Chemicals, Consumer Products, Metals, Photovoltaics, Batteries, Electric Vehicles, Datacenters, Pulp & Paper, Food & Beverage, Manufacturing, and/or other industrial facilities. * Engineer in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE)  * Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) #LI-MP1 Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
