We are currently seeking an Engineering Design Professional - Building Physics to join our team. As an Engineering Design Professional - Building Physics you will be responsible for performing energy and thermal comfort analysis using a variety of industry standard and proprietary tools. The Engineering Design Professional - Building Physics supports the design of and is responsible for the consulting and technical analysis of high performance, sustainable buildings and community’s projects.

Supports the technical analysis and development of high performance, low energy design solutions throughout the project design cycle. Organizes and maintains energy model and analysis files for multiple projects. Develops building heating and cooling load calculations. Assists with equipment and component performance analysis. Performs embodied and operational carbon calculations. Supports building life cycle cost analysis. Prepares accurate reports and calculations. Communicates analysis methods, results, and recommendations. Works closely with project team and assists to complete projects on aggressive schedules. Performs work in a clear, complete, and accurate manner. Utilizes knowledge and experience in applying modeling principles. Implements and utilizes HOK Standards for projects and processes. Actively seeks new knowledge related to engineering practices, principles and regulations changes. Takes personal responsibility for fostering a green workplace through sustainable work practices. Fosters a commitment to external and internal client service.
