Role description:

Growing Rail and Transit team of Arcadis is seeking a Project Engineer-in-Training to work with project managers and multi-disciplinary technical staff in execution of rail and transit projects. This role will get opportunities to work on projects with government agencies as well as design-build construction joint venture teams.

Role accountabilities:
In this role you will provide engineering, design management and coordination support while working with multi-disciplinary teams. You will ensure compliance with project agreement, engineering / quality standards and specifications, provide support in planning and execution of work in collaboration with internal teams, clients and stakeholders fostering a positive team environment. You will provide technical coordination support between various teams during execution phases ensuring technical and schedule requirements are met. You will also assist in project deliverable reviews and preparation of bids/proposals and follow and promote Arcadis and project related health and safety practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil or related discipline Must be registered as E.I.T in Ontario or other jurisdictions in Canada 0-3 years of experience in design management and technical coordination Prior experience in consulting is asset Knowledge/understanding of design, relevant standards, specifications and local industry practices is asset

The salary range for this position is $57,631 - $91,052. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
