Sound Interesting? Here’s what you’ll do:

The Engineering Documentation Specialist is responsible for supporting the R&D engineering team with documentation, change orders, software tool administration/support and support tasks related to the engineering laboratory. You will interact with cross-functional team members focusing on the completion and delivery of projects per business requirements.

Draft, review, edit, process, and route internal and external change orders and documents. Perform edits and/or collaborate with originators and approvers if subsequent action is required.Ensure high levels of quality and conformance to templates for all documentation.Facilitate review and approval of project documentation and engineering change orders.Maintain Design Review meeting minutes and action items.Administer and maintain user permissions for software tools for file sharing, document processing, requirements management, FMEA generation and other engineering and product development activities.Liaison between department personnel and Accounts Payable to generate engineering equipment and services related purchase orders and payments which may include troubleshooting discrepancies, issues or missing information.Track inventory and status of lab equipment and instruments including prototypes.Complete support tasks for engineering team members as requested.Facilitate that company SOPs adequately reflect work being performed

Do you qualify?

  BA/BS degree  A minimum of 3 years of system analyst or documentation support experience required.2 or more years of experience in a medical device environment preferred.·Ability to adapt readily to change in routine and to work across multiple areas.·Ability to work effectively within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced changing environment.Excellent verbal and written communications skills to communicate clearly and concisely.

The hourly pay range for this position is $34.00 - $43.00.

The pay offered for this role may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, & complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent.

This position is also eligible for a performance bonus or sales commissions. ZEISS also offers robust benefits, including medical plans, retirement savings plan and paid time off.
