In addition to providing traditional engineering, design, and construction management services, we have experience with complex design-builds, alliancing, programme management, information technology, asset management, and business consulting. **The opportunity:** You'll join a team of engineering geologists and geotechnical engineers where you will be supported to deliver great project outcomes and have the opportunity to contribute to the geotechnical leadership group and global community to help shape the development of the Asian Pacific geotechnical team. You’ll be involved in a range of engineering projects including transportation, water and wastewater infrastructure, and dams and hydropower throughout New Zealand and Asia pacific. **Key aspects of this role include** : + Determine internal and external client requirements. + Conduct and manage field data acquisition, site investigations and testing. + Develop ground models and provide input into geotechnical analyses, designs, specifications and drawings to ensure that geotechnical designs provide appropriate solutions. + Provide engineering geological expertise to meet project needs. + Planning and delivering geotechnical project inputs to the agreed outputs on budget, on time and to agreed quality standards. + Follow robust quality procedures, checks and reviews to deliver at an appropriate technical standard. We're looking for competent engineering geologists, with 3-5 years’ experience, ideally gained by working in New Zealand, working towards professional registration. Previous experience in Australia or Asia Pacific would be useful. You'll have a strong background in engineering geology and being familiar with industry standard design software including logging software (gINT/Holebase) would be a benefit.
