We are seeking an Engineering Group Manager to lead our talented team of engineers, designers, and support staff. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the technical excellence and quality of our work, driving the development of cutting-edge industrial and high-tech manufacturing facilities for the world's leading technology innovators. This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-performing team, influence strategic project direction, and contribute to the advancement of critical infrastructure projects. This position will be a hybrid position, requiring occasional onsite work. Fully remote or travel work arrangements for this role are not available. Responsibilities Provide strategic direction and technical leadership to multiple in-house engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Ensure adherence to industry codes, standards (e.g., IBC, NEC, ASME), and best practices in all engineering deliverables.Implement and maintain robust quality control processes, including design reviews, constructability analyses, and value engineering studies.Oversee the development and implementation of standardized engineering workflows and documentation practices to ensure consistency and efficiency.Provide technical guidance and expertise on complex engineering challenges, facilitating problem-solving and decision-making.Ensure all designs are compliant with all local, state, and federal codes.Multidisciplinary Collaboration and Project Management:Lead cross-functional collaboration with architectural, electrical, process/chemical, structural, and other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of design elements.Develop and implement comprehensive training and development programs to enhance the technical proficiency and professional growth of team members, including fostering expertise in advanced modeling and simulation tools (e.g., BIM, CFD, FEA).Facilitate effective communication and coordination between engineering teams, project managers, and clients.Develop and maintain strong client relationships, fostering trust and ensuring client satisfaction. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline is required.
Active Professional Engineering (PE) license or ability to obtain an active PE license is preferred.
Demonstrated progressive engineering experience, with a proven track record of leadership and project success in the AEC industry.
Demonstrated expertise in the design and construction of industrial manufacturing, semiconductor, high-technology, battery manufacturing, or similar complex facilities.
Experience in industrial manufacturing, semiconductor, high technology, and/or battery manufacturing industry is highly preferred.Excellent communication and people skills; this role requires the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to a variety of stakeholders (both technical and non-technical).Salary Range: $130,000 - $165,000+/year depending on location, education, experience, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, 401K retirement savings plan (with company matching), opportunities for professional development and training, generous PTO & paid holidays.
