As an Engineering Intern you will work in a collaborative environment to improve our product performance through optimizing the workflow in machine code, designing and executing experiments to understand effects, using statistics to assess the change on assay results, and communicating the results for review.
In this role, you will:
Work at the intersection of the software and mechanics of our analyzerAssess feasibility of potential improvements, and find optimal run conditionsUse statistics to properly design, execute and analyze test resultsWork with business partners, and subject matter experts in the fields of mechanical engineering, software, and assay scienceWhat you will need to succeed:
You are a 3rd or 4th year student pursuing a BS in Engineering or pursuing a higher degree.Have a problem-solving mindset and enjoy working with data.Can synthesize diverse product, scientific, engineering and business requirements into straightforward architectures.Experience using analytical tools such as JMP, Excel, Minitab, or other software tools.Exposure to and a willingness to learn the programming language Lua or similar preferred.Can work both independently and within cross-functional teams.What you can expect from us:
