We are seeking an Engineering Intern responsible for the validation and development of Drivability Features to perform to specifications and meet requirements at our world headquarters located in Lisle, IL.  The work involves in-vehicle calibration development to meet system and vehicle level requirements. Specifically, working with internal and external teams to understand requirements, designing tests, analyzing results, and reviewing results prior to release. Test planning, test support and troubleshooting are necessary as part of this job. In addition, continual support of released calibrations is critical to respond to any warranty issues and necessary product evolution.

12 week program with start dates on: May 12 or 19 or June 240 hours per weekMust graduate between December 2025 - May 2027 Responsibilities Works with program teams to understand program level requirementsWorks with internal technical teams to understand system and vehicle level requirementsCoordinate and executes necessary vehicle tests to support development goalsTroubleshoot issues during development, validation, and productionDesigns and/or utilizes tools for data processing and calibration developmentMaintains plotted data and calibration settings for tests in pre-designated locationAnalyzes test data to draw conclusionsMakes necessary calibration changes and supports calibration builds and releasesDocuments conclusions & summaries in report or presentation format and conducts data reviews/summaries with teamDocuments significant issues & resolutions via standard channelProvides any potential design change recommendations through formal report with supporting dataUtilizes established engineering practices and software to document workflow and track calibration updates via change control processBecomes familiar with internal processes such as DVP&R, FMEA Minimum Requirements Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
