Uponor is offering an exciting ten-week summer internship program in our Manufacturing Engineering department. You will have the opportunity to work hands on with our Engineering team performing valuable work focusing on Safety upgrades to equipment and supporting critical continuous improvement efforts to enable operations profitability and a superior product for our customers. During the summer you will connect with leaders throughout the company to learn more about Uponor’s products and services and will participate in a variety of training sessions focused on preparation for your future careers.  

Areas of Focus

Aid in identifying mechanical or procedural changes to equipment for safety.Provide measurement analysis of dimensions and improvement concepts to reduce variation.Update work instructions for safety.Engage and obtain feedback from employees on new ideas and concepts.Deliver a demonstration of your findings and recommendations to a leadership panel near the end of your internshipOther duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in: Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fieldMust be an incoming Junior or Senior in a degreed program.Experience with Solidworks, statistical analysis, and machine design preferred.Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently. Curiosity, coachability and a willingness to engage.Proficient in Microsoft office.This internship is a full time, in office position.Program runs from 6/2/25- 8/8/25.
