Job Purpose
Aid in the development of manufacturing processes by studying product requirements and researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment. Assist in advancing the company's mission and objectives and in promoting revenue, profitability, and growth as an organization.
Principal Accountabilities
• Developing, troubleshooting, and refining manufacturing processes and equipment
• Write work instructions to transfer manufacturing processes from Engineering to Production.
• Analyzing areas for improvement and contributing to continuous improvement projects.
• Assist with automation design, development, and implementation.
•Any other duties assigned by the Manager.
Knowledge / Skills / Experience
•Currently pursuing a BS degree in Mechanical or other engineering field.
• Knowledge and experience with SolidWorks or similar 3D modeling software.
• Experience working effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Knowledge of engineering fundamentals and ability to apply this knowledge to manufacturing and product design.
• Knowledge of drawings, specifications, and dimensional tolerances
