Req ID 72526 | OSS Mesa, United States ZF Passive Safety Systems US Inc. **We are looking for an Engineering Intern - Automation/Mechanical to join our team in Mesa, AZ!** **U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident Status Required** **Job Responsibilities:** + Support Operations and Manufacturing Engineering teams through flexible and active engagement in a variety of hands-on activities + Complete engineering assignments associated with process changes and improvements. + Participate in team discussions, offering a unique viewpoint based on knowledge and experience + Take an active role in projects becoming familiar with engineering tools and ZF procedures and processes + May prepare simple technical documentation or reports to assist with ongoing engineering projects + Prepare engaging presentations, summaries and/or process briefs to share with the cross-functional team and Engineering and Operations Management **Qualifications:** + Currently pursuing an engineering degree with GPA min of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. + Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint + Experience taking an active role in group activities + Understand engineering fundamentals and methods + Hands-on approach + Self-motivated and engaged in every activity **ZF Mesa Operations screening process includes substance abuse screening test, ATF lifetime background check, and a verification of eligibility for employment.
