Job Summary: Generac Clean Energy Solutions is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Engineering Intern to help automate next-generation renewable energy products and IoT device reliability testing. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated reliability testing for electrical systems and components. You will contribute to the reliability assurance and performance optimization of Clean Energy systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Work on automation software to execute large-scale long-term test setups and procedures for electrical systems, focusing on power conversion, high voltage, inverters, PV Optimizers, electronics and IoT devices.

Utilize Objected Oriented Programing for test automation, data analysis, and equipment control.

Assist with cloud data platform for test data and visualization.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test requirements and specifications for new products or product enhancements.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma

Actively enrolled in a 4-year electrical engineering or computer science program

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge in automation software development (C#/.NET 6, Python, SQL).

Experience cloud data platforms.

Familiarity with graphical data visualization for cloud based test data management.

Attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Proven technical experience through academic or passion projects

Engaged, proactive and positive attitude
