Job Description To ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained hotel environment. Responsibilities Essential Functions: + Maintain all mechanical items in guest rooms and public areas. + Receive direction for house calls via phone or radio. + Assist engineers and mechanics with repairs. + Clean all work areas after completing job. + Fill out Daily Work form. + Have a thorough understanding of Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergencies. + Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations. + Maintain all mechanicals property wide. + Knowledge of all aspects of the Engineering dept. + Maintain property pools as directed by CPO. + Special projects as assigned by Supervisor. Tools and Equipment: + Various plumbing & heating hand tools & equipment Working Environment: + Interior of hotel, in all areas of the hotel. Exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures. + Exterior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions. + Exposure to various hazardous chemicals. Qualifications: + Extensive heating background ideally with steam systems. Qualifications Must be available to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
