GENERAL DESCRIPTION\n
At Tyonek, we're looking for engineering students who want to work with both hardware and software design to support the defense of our nation. We need students that have a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and troubleshooting skills. Interns will be in-person and full time (40-hours) during the summer break from May to August. The start and end dates are flexible based on semester end and start dates\n
DUTIES\n\nCreate, update, maintain, and execute test procedures\nDocument process and all testing data\nWork closely with engineer on hardware and test software design\nProblem Solve\/Debug\/Troubleshoot\nFamiliar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.\nFamiliar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.\nPerforms a variety of tasks.\nTypically reports to a supervisor or manager.\nOther Duties as Assigned\n\n
EDUCATION \/ EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS\n\nHigh School Diploma or Equivalent.\n3rd or 4th year student pursuing a degree in electrical, computer, or software engineering preferred - expected graduate in 2023 or 2024\nProgramming in C; C++ and Java a plus\nExperience with Testing PCB and Electronic Systems\nExperience with Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Multi-meters\nGood working knowledge of MS Office software.\nCreative mind to troubleshoot, find and resolve problems.\nMust be a US citizen\nWe maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.\n\n
