The Workplace Engineering Software Development team is responsible for commoditizing automation and building high quality APIs and data streams that other engineers embed into their applications to deliver richer and more seamless workplace experiences.

Workplace Engineering Software Development team is seeking a skilled Associate AWS Cloud Developer with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud technologies to join our Workplace Engineering Software Development team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the AWS tech stack and capable of working horizontally across all cloud initiatives within the team. This role focuses on creating architecture biases for cloud development and requires a strong background in AWS cloud services.

Work independently managing several large components or complex projects.Work closely with colleagues to collaborate on technical solutions.Passion for growing your skills and coming up with solutions to interesting problems.Produce high-quality results by contributing heavily to team projects that have a significant impact on the business.Assist support teams and operations teams in triaging and resolving production issues.Responsibilities Design and implement cloud architecture solutions using AWS services.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop cloud-based solutions.Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation, EC2, S3, Lambda, and other AWS services.Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of cloud applications.Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost and performance.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.Stay updated with the latest AWS technologies and best practices.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).3-5 years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.Hands-on development experience in programming languages such as JAVA, C#, and Golang.Proficiency in AWS tech stack including EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, and other AWS services.Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices.Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Developer certification.Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.Familiarity with Golang is a strong advantage.
