Engineering Lead Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US * * * **The Opportunity:** CACI is looking for a Senior Engineering Lead to oversee a team of Information Technology (IT) professionals supporting our customer, U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) in Omaha, Nebraska. This position is contingent upon award of the United States Strategic Command Information Technology and Logistics Support (SCITLS) contract. **Responsibilities:** The Lead Engineer who shall provide the following during the execution of this Task Order (TO): + Oversee the design, development, and integration of technical solutions to ensure solutions align with mission/functional requirements and are designed IAW agency policies and cyber security requirements. + The Engineering Lead shall plan and direct engineering and project management resources, work with government leadership to prioritize projects, manage resources, and track project costs and schedules. + The Lead Engineer monitors and reports the status of all active projects and supports planning and prioritization into future projects. + The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, have strong leadership skills, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner. The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts. + The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with both client managers and system users. + The Lead engineer provides management and oversight of both project management and engineering resources in order to plan, execute, and deliver the outcomes for projects designated by the Command. Performs/supports/directs all required engineering functions found in the Service Design Domain. **Qualifications:** _Required:_ + A minimum of 10 years’ experience with Network and System Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in DoD IT Systems and Networks. + IAT II Certification in Network Engineering, System Administration, and/or Cloud Architecture + Minimum of a TS clearance with eligibility for SCI at time of proposal submission + Minimum 5-years successful experience as a Lead Engineer or similar position on a government program. + Experience with Microsoft Project Professional or related tool _Desired:_ + PMP or related project management certification greatly desired + Experience with managing project portfolios using tools such as ServiceNow’s Strategic Portfolio Management platform, Microsoft Project Server, or Primavera - ______________________________________________________________________________ **What You Can Expect:** **A culture of integrity.** At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
