We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to join the Growth and Marketing platform team to help the Comms platform become an effective tool to enable diverse use cases such as transactional uses (seamless logins), ads and promotions (marketing) campaigns that enable diverse use cases such as eaters to discover new foods and restaurants to grow their customer base. You’ll lead and work with teams behind apps used by millions globally every day and be a part of the technical foundations and product growth for these areas. Collaborate with and across teams to design, build, and ship great experiences for our customers \-\-\-\- Basic Qualifications ---- Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related fields. 8 years full-time Software Engineering work experience + at least 2-years full-time Engineer Management experience, WHICH INCLUDES technical software engineering experience in one or more of the following areas: 1. Programming language (e.g. C, C++, Java, Python, or Go) 2. Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully leading and managing engineering teams. 3. Strong technical background and hands-on experience in designing & building robust engineering platforms/products. 4. A track record of delivering results in fast-paced and highly ambiguous environments. 5. Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. \-\-\-\- Preferred Qualifications ---- 1. A strong business sense and an ability to challenge and effectively partner with product managers and business stakeholders. 2. 10+ years full-time Software Engineering experience with at least 2-years full-time Engineer Management experience 3. Experience in communications platform or growth and marketing space building platforms or products is a plus.
