The role
As an Engineering Manager you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll have the opportunity to lead and shape multi-disciplinary projects from concept design through to full Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC). You'll drive innovation, develop strategic capabilities, and manage a dynamic team, making a real impact by delivering cutting-edge engineering solutions.
Day-to-day, you’ll manage and control complex engineering projects, ensuring seamless integration of multi-discipline tasks and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Lead and manage multi-discipline teams to deliver engineering projects efficiently and on time.
Foster collaboration across engineering and other functional teams.
Build and maintain relationships with customers to support project development and resolve technical challenges.
Oversee the technical aspects of engineering outputs to ensure alignment with project scope.
Uphold the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental practices, promoting a culture of ethics and safety within the team.
This role is full time 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.
Essential experience of the Engineering Manager
Proven experience as a principal engineer, with strong leadership and management skills, including experience managing multi-discipline teams across various project types.
Demonstrated ability to manage fixed-price projects, adhering to timelines, budgets, and delivering results.
Experience working in highly regulated industries.
Qualifications for the Engineering Manager
Engineering degree (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant engineering discipline.
Chartered Engineer status is highly desirable.
Security Clearance
