Engineering Manager
Basingstoke plus travel to other Fujitsu sites as required.
This role is for an Engineering Manager to manage a team of architects and designers and ensure engineering delivery follows engineering processes and governance. The candidate will have experience of providing leadership to a large team (over 40) of technical architects on a large programme and be an effective bridge between the programme/project and architect/design teams.
Manages the activities of the Engineering Team to ensure Engineering methodology and processes are followed. Supports governance and assurance for technical accuracy and delivery. Manages technical dependencies across RFCs, the release order and the priority based on an engineering factory perspective. Facilitates the capture of all demand and accompanying prioritisation. Ensures the technical backlog is up to date, resourced, and prioritised and drives closure of outstanding work items including defects. Refines or updates processes to optimise delivery. Collaborates with Programme and Project Managers, CTO and other teams. Makes and supports determinations for equipment, staff and training needs and talent development. Able to work with partner/vendor teams as needed.Your benefits:
