Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to join our team in Chennai, India. As an Engineering Manager, you will lead and inspire a team of talented software engineers, driving innovation and delivering high-quality products that meet our business objectives.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of software engineersDevelop and implement engineering strategies aligned with company goalsManage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time delivery and quality standardsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and technical specificationsImplement and maintain Agile methodologies to optimize team performanceConduct regular performance reviews and support the professional development of team membersParticipate in architectural decisions and ensure best practices in software developmentStay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologiesContribute to the recruitment and onboarding of new engineering talentManage resource allocation and budgeting for engineering projects

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership roleStrong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologiesProficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or AzureExcellent project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsProven track record of building and mentoring high-performing engineering teamsExperience in making critical decisions in fast-paced environmentsKnowledge of industry trends and best practices in software engineeringProject Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
