Engineering Manager

Our guests’ safety and comfort always come first. Which is why we’re seeking out a master multi-tasker with the repair skills needed to keep our **Kimpton Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong** looking and feeling their very best. Our **Engineering Manager** will assist Chief Engineer and Director of Engineering to supervise and coach a small but talented engineering team to stay one step ahead of our everyday maintenance needs.
**A little taste of your day-to-day**
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
+ Handling new hotel projects
+ Taking care of hotel licensing and restaurant licensing related application and renewal procedures
+ Managing tendering document preparation, contract document and internal auditing work
+ Planning, executing and monitoring all hotel engineering repair and preventive maintenance works in compliance with both the external audit and management review
+ Supervising the Engineering team to deliver effective and efficient maintenance duties
+ Analysing the guest stay feedback data and hardware performance trend.
+ Reporting to the Director of Engineering
**What we need from you**
+ A minimum of 6 years’ experience in hotel operation, with at last 2 years at managerial role
+ A higher diploma in building services engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, engineering science, or equivalent
+ Holder of Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate (Green Card)
+ Experience in handling hotel opening, hotel renovation, hotel operation, hotel licensing procedures, preventive maintenance and fire services systems
+ Strong connection with local contractors and government departments.
+ Good computer skills especially Microsoft Office and Acrobat.
+ Good command in both English and Chinese, speaking and writing
