Caterpillar’s Earthmoving Division is currently seeking a leader for the Cost Enabling, Standards & Regs, Machine Sub-System Experts and Supplier Collaboration Engineers. This role will provide leadership in the areas of cost strategies, development and ownership of cost enabling tools; leading the standards and regulations team for Earthmoving and guiding the machine system experts.  This position is located in Peoria, IL.  In this role you will work on the exciting and challenging Earthmoving strategy focusing on numerous objectives and areas of excellence within it.

In addition to the responsibilities mentioned above, this position is also accountable to provide leadership for the Earthmoving intellectual property and compliance, Virtual Product Development and artificial intelligence strategies. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to lead a talented team of up to 20-25 individual contributors.

What You’ll Do (Job Duties):

Champion critical cost strategies, cost enabling processes, tools and data for EarthmovingIntellectual Property and compliance strategy owner for Earthmoving working with product groups and enterprise experts for efficient global development while managing risksManage Earthmoving’s Standards and Regulations Compliance experts while staying closely connected to the enterprise product safety and compliance teamLead the Earthmoving Simulation Strategy and the Virtual Product Development Strategy working closely with peers in Earthmoving and around the enterprise to progress the level of confidence in virtual simulation tools and processesOversee Earthmoving’s structures, engine installation & cooling and electrical installation system technical experts guiding strategic projects, alignment and knowledge sharingCoordinate Supplier Collaboration Engineers dedicated within Earthmoving supporting the product groups on strategic sourcing projects and NPI programsManage department personnel duties, strategies and initiatives

What You Have (Basic Qualifications):

Degree Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering or Business AdministrationManaging People:Leadership skills to lead an organization and the ability to interpret a vision and strategy, execute on it to delivery results with a diverse teamCoaching and developing team members to improve and excel with challenging goalsExcellent networking skills to network with leaders across enterprise organizations to make a positive impact on the businessTechnical Excellence:Demonstrated use of new innovations and technologies to solve business problemsDeep expertise in product development, business management or engineering simulationEffective Communication:Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely across all levels of the organization, facilitating collaboration and alignmentCreate a climate for collaboration in the organization and minimizes barriers to collaboration.

Summary Pay Range:

$169,320.00 - $253,920.00
